The pictures dont do it justice. I had concerns when I ordered, however when it arrived I found they were unwarrented. This finish is good, could be improved. The handle is fitted perfect and it indexs well in my hands. The balance is just right for a solid swing. The axe has not come loose as of yet however they included extra wedges so even if it did, theres a quick fix. The puck is a nice add to keep it sharp. Very pleased and have wishlisted more on their page for the future.

The axe came with a split in the blade all the way through to the other side. I will be refunding this axe even though I like it.

My husband picked out this double bit axe with leather blade shields, sharpening stone and leather strap to hang the tool on the wall. He cuts wood for our outdoor wood burning furnace. He explained to me that sometimes there are chunks of wood that could be trimmed a bit more before going into the outdoor furnace. He was so pleased when it arrived and started using it is right away. (A Christmas present for him and I didn’t even have to wrap it!) Good price, good quality axe. Nice gift.
