WOW! Nothing but positives on this review. This is a NICE camping/hiking/tossing hatchet!
Very well made! Comes in a pretty plain cardboard box, but the second you open it you are impressed. WICING’s axe screams with quality! Beautiful wood handle, sanded and polished with a smooth yet firm grip texture remaining. Solid weight. The axe head has a gorgeous aged metal design. Comes with a rubber blade cover already on it, which is good ’cause this sucker is SHARP! Straight out of the box, we’re talking lethal sharp! Leather blade sheath is not just solid quality but compliments the overall style and design of the axe. WICING put a lot of love and thought into this piece and it shows!!
Included are a sharpening stone and two of those little metal bullet looking things. No clue what they’re for, so my inner “I don’t know what I’m doing” shows. I do know a strong tool, though, and this is it! I’ll update if things change, but for know I have no doubts that this axe is gonna complement my camping gear nicely! Hey, let’s be honest, it’s gonna compliment my backyard party throwing team as well!

I love this style of hatchet. Some people think it’s all about looks, and no functionality, but no. This is actually a very functional design for a hatchet, or small ax, and it looks great. It is definitely not built for throwing, but is built very well for bushcraft.
When it arrives, it is sharp. Not like paper sharp or anything, but definitely sharp enough for it’s intended uses. It has a great Edge geometry, so it goes through wood with ease, and has great Edge retention. It has a great weight to it, so you don’t have to do all of the work.
They even included a nice sharpening stone, for when your blade does go dull. With proper use, it should take a while for that to happen. But, it does happen. This Hatchet seems to be made out of fairly hard steel, so it does take a little bit of grinding with the included stone. But, it does work so it is a nice addition.
Overall, this is a great looking, and working, Camp ax. It works exactly as it should, and should be around forever with proper maintenance. Highly recommended.
